The Help-Line Troupe

These are the "wee folk" of Faery, large and small, who sometimes assist us in our daily lives - and sometimes add more than a little to the confusion, usually in an effort to be helpful. These faeries are associated with the five elements: earth, air, fire, water, and moonlight. Some of them work singly and some are trouping faeries. All are full of life and fun and generally sassy and often mischievous. They are the ones we often think of when we think of brownies and pixies and such. "Except," Faery Nuff says, "when we are thinking of another sort of faery altogether."

They asked me to remind you here that, while they are willing to meet you anywhere, they particularly like to play with you out in the natural world, practicing natural magic. I said I thought that was very sensible, and Faery Nuff, often a spokesfaery, replied, "Yes, but that's no reason to not do it."

He now adds, apropros of nothing I can see, "What a man sows, that shall he reap, as the silly man said as he sowed the meal."
